WABCO is an American provider of electronic braking, stability, suspension and transmission automation systems for heavy duty commercial vehicles.

Founded in the U.S. in 1869 as Westinghouse Air Brake Company, WABCO was acquired by American Standard in 1968 and spun off in 2007. Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, WABCO employs more than 11000 people in 34 countries worldwide. In 2013, WABCO’s total sales were $2,720.5 million, a rise of 10% over the previous year. WABCO is a publicly traded company and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange as WABCO Holdings, Inc., with the stock symbol WBC.

The RÁBA Automotive Group, commonly known as Rába, is a Hungarian public limited company. Rába engineers, manufactures and customizes automotive components, specialty vehicles and axles for commercial vehicles, agri-machinery and earth-movers. The Rába has been building axles as well as complete vehicles since 1902. The company has three strategic business units. The company is headquartered in Győr, employing more than 2000 people.

SPHEROS

«Spheros-Electron» Joint Ukrainian-German venture was founded in 1996. The enterprise founders are PJSC«Concern-Electron» (Ukraine) and «Spheros GmbH» (Germany). «Spheros-Electron» JV is the only in Ukraine manufacturer of climatic systems for vehicles: heaters of different types for buses, commercial vehicles and trucks, constructional and special engineering vehicles. Also the company offers to the vehicles manufacturer's air-conditioners, electromechanical and mechanical hatches for all types of city and tourist buses, receivers for transport vehicles pneumatic and brake systems, fuel tanks of different dimension types and capacity, steering columns. Before 2006 «Spheros-Electron» JV (formerly «Webasto-Electron» JV) was a part of «Webasto» concern – transnational company, which branches and representative offices are located in more than 50 countries of the world. In the issue of reorganization of «Webasto» concern administration structure and for the purpose to concentrate efforts for the development and maximal satisfaction of bus market needs, a number of the main plants, located in Germany, Turkey, France, Finland and Ukraine, were united in a separate group under the name of «Spheros» The company’s own production program includes independent diesel heaters DBW and Thermo E, which are very popular among leading vehicle producers due to a high reliability and quality. Also the company offers independent gas GBW and electric Thermo AC/DC heaters. GAC

GAC is a Chinese automobile maker headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong, and a subsidiary of Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group. GAC sells passenger cars, commercial vehicles, SUVs and buses under the GAC Bus brand. GAC produced 728,000 vehicles in 2012, and is the tenth-largest in volume. It is the tenth-largest producer of passenger cars among Chinese automakers. GAC is currently known for its Honda-branded auto producing joint venture with this Japanese automaker, but the company has a total of five foreign partners—more than most Chinese automakers. These partnerships allow it to produce foreign-branded products for sale in China. These brands include: Fiat, Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, and Toyota. Other brand names associated with GAC are Everus, for consumer vehicles, and Hino. Sabalan Khodro has been in partnership with GAC since 2013.

FOTON

Foton Founded in 1996, is headquartered in Beijing, China. With a business scope covering a full series of commercial vehicles including medium and heavy-duty trucks, light-duty trucks, vans, pickups buses, and construction machinery vehicle and an accumulative production and sales volume of approximate 8000,000 vehicles. It is currently the Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturer with the widest range of models and the largest scale. Foton established the joint venture of China Beijing Foton Daimler Automotive Co., Ltd. with the Daimler AG, the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer. Also, in 2006, Foton and Cummins Inc. signed an agreement to form joint venture Company to manufactures two types of Cummins light-duty and high-performance diesel engines in Beijing, China. Sabalan Khodro and Foton signed partnership agreements in 2018 and production capacity for Foton minibuses is 1000 unit for 2018.

DAEWOO BUS

Daewoo Bus Commercial Vehicle is a South Korean manufacturer of buses, based in Busan. In 2003, ZYLE Daewoo Commercial Vehicle has grown into a global bus manufacturer in its capacity of around 20,000 units per annum, which has 2 manufacturing plants in Korea and 7 overseas manufacturing plants and 15 KD (knock-down) worldwide partners. Daewoo Bus is a second-largest bus manufacturer, and has been in a partnership in 2006 with GM DAEWOO (now General Motors Korea). Sabalan khodro has been signed partnership agreements with Daewoo Bus since 2010. In his agreement Daewoo has been accepted to supply and import CKD, SKD to Sabalan Khodro and Sabalan khodro. Also, Daewoo has been accepted to import technical knowledge to Sabalan Khodro as well. The first common project between two companies was designing & constructing all the jigs and fixtures for city bus production lines in Sabalan Khodro Plant. This made Sabalan Khodro the first manufacturer in Iran that had production lines with this technology.
